Privacy Policy

How information is handled

Effective 27 October 2026 · Website policy draft

1. Controller and contact

SalusV is the Website operator and the intended controller of information supplied directly to it. Before public launch, the full legal name and contact address of the controller must be confirmed and published. Privacy enquiries: salusvitae.v3@proton.me.

2. Information involved

The static Website may process information you voluntarily submit by email or through WhatsApp, such as your name, organisation, contact details, postal address and enquiry content (including the products, quantities and values in your shortlist). The shortlist and access acknowledgement are designed to be stored locally in your browser, not sent to SalusV by those functions. The hosting provider may separately process technical information such as IP address, device and request logs.

3. Purposes and lawful bases

We use direct enquiries to respond to requests, manage institutional communications, protect the Website and comply with legal obligations. Depending on the circumstances, the lawful basis may be legitimate interests in handling enquiries and site security, steps requested before entering a contract, or compliance with legal duties. Any separate marketing activity requires its own appropriate legal basis and notices.

4. Recipients and international transfers

Information you send by email is processed by the relevant email service provider; information sent through WhatsApp is processed under WhatsApp’s terms and privacy arrangements. Website hosting providers may process technical logs. These providers may operate internationally. The operator must assess any applicable UK international-transfer safeguards before launch and update this notice with confirmed arrangements.

5. Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, legal obligations and legitimate dispute handling. A specific retention schedule must be confirmed before launch. Browser-stored shortlist and access preferences can be removed using browser storage controls.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable exemptions, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing and request data portability. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. Contact the operator using the email above to exercise rights. A postal address you include in an enquiry is used only to discuss delivery of any supply that may follow.

7. Security and children

Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should be applied to any personal data processed. The Website is intended for adults aged 18 or over; please do not submit children’s personal information.

8. Changes

This notice will be updated when the operator’s identity, service providers, retention periods and actual data flows are confirmed. Read it alongside the Cookie & Storage Policy.
